Almond
Nut Bars
I know, I know it's a hard Winter. It is for me too. Try to make this high nutrition protein bar and take to to work or school with you. It will be a great energy booster to keep you warm.
These will be a hit for any
almond butter lover!!
Feel free to use your
favorite nuts or seeds in this recipe.
Ingredients:
3 cups of raw almond butter
1 cup maple syrup or honey
1 tsp cinnamon
½ cup cacao nibs
2 tsp bee pollen
1 cup raw sunflower seeds
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup pistachio nuts
½ cup goji berries – soaked
½ cup hemp seeds
¼ cup flax seeds
1/3 cup sesame seeds
Mix well with hands or
wooden spoon. Spread out onto a cookie sheet.
Allow to firm in the fridge. Cut
into squares.
You can freeze these too,
that is if you don’t eat them all at once!!
Dehydrate to firm to a bar
that can be carried easily
